A total of 34 candidates are invited under Technology occupations
The British Columbia invited 34 candidates in the technology occupations under British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program through its weekly pilot program. The draw took place on 9TH May, 2018.
The invitations were issued to those applicants of BC PNP who already have a valid job offer in one of the tech pilot programs which lists 32 key technology occupations.
The Tech Pilot program came into force in 2017 to help support British Columbia’s technology sector by attracting foreign tech workers to the province.
The applicants who have applied under Express Entry BC: Skilled Worker and Express Entry BC: International Graduate is entitled to receive 600 additional points under Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score if their application for provincial nomination is approved.
The applications are processed outside the Express Entry System for the candidates who are invited under Skills Immigration Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories after they receive a successful nomination from BC.

However, the total number of invites in each category is not available, the total of 34 invites are issued is known.
