The BC PNP is aligned with the Canada Express Entry system and regularly explores the Express Entry pool to pick out the best foreign applicants who have the right skills and those who can dedicate their skills in the labour market of the province of British Columbia.

The invited candidates in the stream of the Express Entry BC will now receive an additional 600 points which will elevate their chances for British Columbia immigration and Canada PR visa.

The BC PNP draw was conducted in two sessions for the NOC code 0621 and 0631. The first draw issued 47 invitations for the sub-streams Skilled Worker and International Graduate of the streams of Skilled Worker and the Express Entry BC. The minimum score for all the sub-streams was 111.

The second draw session issued a total of 323 invitations. The minimum score for the sub-stream skilled Worker and International Graduate were 94 and 90 respectively. For the sub-stream Entry level and Semi-Skilled of the Skills immigration, the minimum score was 76.

The candidates who prefer British Columbia PNP in their Express entry profile and those who have sufficient CRS scores to be considered for the British Columbia Occupations in demand are invited intermittently to move to the green province of British Columbia. Subsequently those invited candidates will be eligible to apply for the permanent residency in Canada on the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

The Skills immigration stream of the BC PNP is for the foreign skilled workers who have the right skills and who are capable for pursuing the occupation in demand in the province of British Columbia. The invitations are decided on the CRS score and the rank of the Candidates’ profile which are based on some factors like age, work, education, skills, language etc.
