British Columbia Invited Applications At Lower Point Score

On 4th of April, British Columbia Provincial Nomination Program called 326 applicants to apply for Canada PR through Provincial Nomination. These invitations were issued under BC PNP’s Skilled Immigration and Express Entry streams. The cut off for both the streams were noticed being less than the previous draw conducted on 21st of March.

The nomination is not a selection but only an invitation to apply through province’s PNP.

Those candidates who got invitations under Express Entry streams can now claim additional Comprehensive Ranking Score of 600 points and thus, can lead the race of selection under federal Express Entry draws.

On the other hand, remaining candidates who got selection under Skills Immigration Category has to wait for the province to process their application/ nomination.


How to apply for BC PNP?

If you want to immigrate to Canada through British Columbia’s Provincial Nomination Program, then these are the steps to consider:

- Get a Job offer from a British Columbian employer (mandatory requirement)

- Create online profile with BC PNP

- Get your score based on your age, education, work experience and language skills (minimum score must be 67 points)

- After meeting the criteria, your profile will land into BC PNP pool

- Get nomination and wait for your application to be processed by British Columbia
