British Columbia Invited 27 Skilled Workers And Graduates Under Tech Pilot Draw

 British Columbia invited 27 applicants for provincial nomination in its latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) tech pilot draw that took place on July 18, 2018.

The invites were issued to skilled workers and graduates who met the BC PNP Tech pilot eligibility requirements. The latest requirements were updated where a full-time job offer letter of at least one year is required among other criteria.

The BC Tech pilot was introduced to attract skilled workers to come and work in British Columbia that is emerging as preferred location for new and emerging technologies.

The 27 applicants who have got invitation under BC’s Express Entry aligned streams like EEBC-Skilled Worker and EEBC-International Graduate will obtain 600 additional points under Comprehensive Ranking System Score.

The minimum score for each category in July 18, 2018 draw were:

  • For Express Entry British Columbia- Skilled Worker, the minimum score was 92 points
  • For Express Entry British Columbia-International Graduate, the minimum score was 96 points
  • For SI-Skilled Worker stream, the minimum score was 87 points
  • For SI-International Graduate stream, the minimum score was 96 points

The applicants interested in migrating to BC must create an online profile with the BCPNP and complete all components of the form. The profile is then accessed on various factors like age, educational qualification, work experience, language ability and adaptability.
