The province of British Columbia conducted latest provincial nomination draws under its Express Entry linked immigration categories.
The province of British Columbia conducted the latest Tech Pilot draw on 30th July 2019 inviting 70 candidates for provincial nomination under its different provincial streams. The invitations were given to the selected candidates having a job offer in one of the 29 occupations listed on the tech pilot occupational list.
The provincial nomination from British Columbia will give 600 additional points towards the overall immigration point score that will ultimately boost the Canada immigration chances for Canada PR.
A new report from the provincial government reveals that British Columbia's Express Entry linked immigration categories issued 3,100 nominations for Canadian permanent residence in 2018 so far. Nearly 2,000 of these nominations went to candidates in the Express Entry BC: Skilled Worker Category and another 936 went to international graduates of eligible post-secondary institutions in British Columbia through the EEBC: International Graduate Category.

The following communities are now participating in the Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot: Hope, Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako (Electoral Area A – Smithers Rural, Electoral Area B – Burns Lake Rural, Electoral Area C – Fort St. James Rural, Electoral Area D – Fraser Lake Rural, Electoral Area E – Francois/Ootsa Lake Rural, Electoral Area F - Vanderhoof Rural, and Electoral Area G – Houston Rural), Northern Rockies Regional Municipality, Osoyoos, and Sayward.
