BC PNP Issued 72 Invitations In The Latest Tech Pilot Draw Held On August 25, 2020

On August 25, 2020, British Columbia PNP conducted its latest draw under which it issued 72 invitations to the candidates who applied under the BC PNP. As compared to the previous Tech Pilot  draw that took place on August 11, 2020, 20 more invitations were issued to the candidates who applied under the skilled worker and international graduates categories of the Express Entry BC and the skilled immigration streams.

The main idea behind the introduction of this program was to captivate the eyeballs of the skilled professionals who intend to live and work in the beautiful province of the British Columbia on a permanent basis. The Tech Pilot Draw is basically for the ones who’re proficient in the Technology sector and can bridge the gap that exists in the labour market of the province of British Columbia.

In order to receive an invitation, you need to get registered under the BC PNP stream, meet the eligibility requirement and must have a hold of a valid job offer for at least a year, that too in one of the occupations listed in the occupations list.

As far as 2020 is concerned, BC has conducted 4 tech pilot draws despite the corona outbreak. The lowest CRS score of the candidate in the both the categories of Skilled Worker and the International Graduates is as low as 80.
