BC PNP New Tech - Pilot Draw Invited 41 Applicants To International Skilled Workers And Graduates StreamPosted On: Wed, Dec 25 2019
The British Columbia province invited 41 candidates to apply for Tech Pilot under British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. The draw was conducted on November 21, 2018.
Those invited in Skills Immigration and Express Entry categories are required to have one-year full-time job offer letter in one of the pilot’s 29 in-demand occupations.
The draw invited 41 applicants in the following categories:
- Express Entry British Columbia Skilled Worker Stream invited candidates with minimum score of 80 points
- Express Entry British Columbia International Graduate stream invited candidates with minimum score of 90 points
- SI Skilled Worker Stream invited candidates with minimum score of 80 points
- SI International Graduates stream with minimum score of 90 points
The selected candidates are entitled to receive 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score that will eventually increase the Canadian Permanent Residence chances. These points will guarantee an ITA in the next subsequent express entry draw.
All potential applicants under skilled worker and international graduate applying for BC PNP must create an online profile and register under Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
The applicant applications are then processed by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for skill immigration outside Express Entry system.
Tech Pilot stream was introduced to bring in skilled and qualified workers under 29 occupations to come and contribute towards growing Canadian economy.
