Alberta Recent Express Entry Draw Reaches 300 CRS Score Issuing 150 Notification Of Interest

The Alberta province of Canada has introduced its latest invitation round results on 29th January 2020 with issuing a total of 150 Notification of Interest. In this Alberta Express Entry Draw, it saw CRS score of 300 which is 50 points lower than the previous draw of January 22nd 2020. The Comprehensive Ranking scores are evaluated on the basis of applicant’s education, age, Skilled Employment experience, language ability scores and on adaptability.

The Alberta Express Entry stream allows Alberta PNP to select qualified candidates with the profile under Express Entry System that manages pool of Candidates from three economic programs as Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trade program and Canadian Experience class (CEC).

Successful Express Entry Candidates will receive additional 600 points after getting Nomination from AINP towards overall obtained CRS score. In the January month, Alberta invites a total of 501 Express Entry Candidates to become permanent residents. It does not require a Job offer letter for Alberta to get invitation to apply for provincial nomination. However, it gives priority to those candidates who satisfied three categories as given below:

  • A job offer letter or work experience in Alberta.
  • A child, parent or siblings living in Alberta.
  • Acquired a degree from Canadian post-secondary recognized institution and a valid job offer.
