Alberta Invites 372 Express Entry Candidates On 24th October, 2019Posted On: Sat, Nov 09 2019
The Alberta province gives an invitation to 372 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination under AINP draw. With a minimum CRS score of 300 points are invited to apply in this current draw.
This CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) is 50 points lower than the score drawn on October 9 which were 350 through a federal Express Entry invitation round. The invited candidates were preferred because of following considerations:
- The candidate’s job offer or work experience in Alberta.
- A Valid job-offer and a degree from a Canadian post-secondary institution.
- A parent, child or siblings already staying in Alberta.
The (AINP) Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program can issue up to 6,000 nominations for the 2019 year, as this limit is approved by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). As of 5 November 2019, a total 5,171 nomination certificates have been issued and approx. 1,950 applications wait for assessment for eligibility. The Express Entry system manages the pool of candidates for three Canada’s main economic immigration categories as:

The highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for permanent residency. The AINP awarded 600 additional points towards their total score.
