The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) can issue up to 6,000 nominations for the year 2019, as told by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). As of September 10, a total of 4,115 nomination certificates have been issued so far in 2019.
The Express Entry system manages the pool of candidates for three of Canada's main economic immigration categories- Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trade Program, and Canadian Experience Class. The highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for permanent residence. They are also awarded 600 additional points towards their total score.
