5th Express Entry Draw Of 2018 Conducted: Invited 3,000 Applicant At 456 CRS Cut-Off

In latest Express Entry Draw conducted on 14th of March, 2018, Government of Canada invited 3,000 candidates from the pool to apply for Permanent Resident Visa. The CRS cut-off was whopping 456. The draw came after three-week long gap. This was the first time when Express Entry Draw conduct took a leap.

Every year since Express Entry’s introduction in 2015, CIC conducts draws every fortnightly.

The number of invitations in the previous draw were 2,750 with CRS cut-off as 442, which is the lowest in 2018 draws. However, turning the tables, CIC has now conduceddraw at such an elevated cut-off of 456, inviting 3,000 applicants.

This draw was fifth conducted draw in the year 2018 which is the first year of Canada’ proposed multi-year immigration plan (2018-2020).

For this year, Canada has established a target of 74, 900 through three economic immigration classes of Express Entry, i.e.,

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program
  • Federal Skilled Tarde Program
  • Canadian Experience Class Program
