5,000 ITA’s Were Issued In The Largest Express Entry Draw Ever[Published Thu, Nov 19 2020]
On November 18, 2020, the maple country held its latest Express entry draw issuing a total of 5,000 invitations to the candidates who applied under any of the immigration streams under express entry such as Federal skilled workers program, Federal skilled trades program and Canadian experience class. It is the largest draw held by Canada, inviting a total of 5,000 candidates, bringing the aspiring candidates one step closer towards applying for Canada’s permanent residence.
The candidates who received an ITA (Invitation to apply) in the latest express entry draw needed a CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score of 472. The CRS score is awarded on the basis of certain parameters such as human/core capital factors, spouse-related factors, skills transferability factors and additional points. The candidates having the highest CRS score were given an invitation in the latest express entry draw.
A tie-breaking rule was applied in the latest draw. The candidates who had a CRS score of 472 or more need to submit their express entry profile before October 27 at 06:18:11 UTC were sent an invitation to apply for Canada’s Permanent residence. The CRS score released in the latest draw is 6 less than the previous draw held on November 6, 2020.
This year has set a new breaking record for Express entry, as the number of invitations issued today was the largest. The number of invitations issued today shows that the maple country still has a positive approach towards immigration, that’s the reason it is inviting more and more immigration candidates despite the corona outbreak.
