The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) Calculator or the Canada Express Entry Points Calculator is specially designed to calculate your scores, based on the responses that you provide. Based on your CRS scores, Canada Express Entry profiles are evaluated and assessed for Canada PR Visa.

The higher your CRS score, the higher are the chances to receive an ITA (Invitation To Apply). Applicants may need to qualify in at least one of the three programs,

  • FSWP (Federal Skilled Workers Program), OR
  • FSTP (Federal Skilled Trades Program) OR
  • CEC (Canadian Experience Class)

Moreover, applicant need to score Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) based on three factors

  • 1. Core Human Factor - 500 CRS.
  • 2. Skills Transfectability – 100 CRS
  • 3. Additional Factors :- 600 RCS
  • Total : 1200

Now, the total of Core Human Capital Factors and the Spouse or Common-Law partner factors can give you maximum 500 points.
In an equation, A + B = 500 Points


C. Skill Transfer-ability Factors (Maximum 100 points)
Education Points per factor
(Maximum 50 points)
A duo of post-secondary degree along with a strong language proficiency 50
A combo of a post-secondary degree along with a relevant work experience 50

Now, The Foreign Work Experience

Foreign Work Experience Points Per Factor
(maximum 50 points)
A good language proficiency with CLB 7 and a relevant foreign work experience 50
A combo of Canadian Work Experience and Foreign Work Experience 50

For People in Trade Occupations,

Certificate of Qualification (for people in trade occupations) Points per factor
(Maximum 50 points)
Certificate of qualification and language dexterity 50

Now, the core human capital factors, the spouse or common law-partner and the skill transferability factors can give you a total of 600 points.

D. Additional points (Maximum 600 points)
Factor Minimum points per factor
Sibling Living in Canada (Either as a citizen or a permanent Resident) 15 points
A dexterity in French Language 30 points
Post-Secondary (that too in Canada) 30 points
Arranged Employment (Means a valid job offer from a Canadian ) 200 points
PNP Nomination 600 points

Note: The total of A + B + C + D equals to 1200 points

A Point to Remember:

If your spouse or common-law partner is not boarding a flight with you for Canada, or they’re already a citizen or a permanent resident, you will earn points as if you don’t have a spouse or partner.
