What is Visa Processing Time For Australia From India ?

Australia PR visa processing time depends on the type of Australia PR programs you are applying through.

There are three sub-classes of visa namely,

Visa sub-class 189 and 190 takes up to total of 7 months in process, whereas, visa sub-class 489 takes up a time period of 1 year.

Below is the step by step processing time for 3 different sub-class visas:

Step by step processing time of visa sub-class 189:

Stage 1: Check if your occupation or Job profile is listed in the main Skilled Occupation List (SOL), Australia

Stage 2: Confirm if you are meeting all the eligibility requirements.

Stage 3: Complete a Skills Assessment Test.

Stage 4: Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect.

Stage 5: Apply for the Skilled Independent Work Visa (subclass 189)

Stage 6: Wait for a final decision.

 

Step by step process time for Australian skilled nomination visa 190:

Stage 1: The first stage of the 190 application process involves concluding a skill assessment test.

Stage 2: Once you have received a positive skills assessment outcome/result, you then need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through Skill Select.

Stage 3: Apply to the place of your interest (state/territory) in Australia and wait for the outcome.

Stage 4: Once you have been granted an Invitation to Apply (ITA), you can continue to the DIBP stage of the application.

 

Step by step processing time for visa sub-class 489:

Step 1: Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) in DIBP's SkillSelect.

Step 2: Apply to the place of your interest (state/territory) in Australia for nomination and wait for the outcome.

Step 3: After getting a positive skill assessment, you need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect.

Step 4: Once you have been granted an Invitation to apply (ITA) for further application, you can continue to the DIBP stage of the application.
